Pleasant Poppies and You're Amazing

Pleasant Poppies is a large stamp with lots of possibilities.
Sandi MacIver reminded me how to use bleach directly onto cardstock.
Some "fussy cutting"was used on this paper pieced card.
This set is called You're Amazing. It looks like I've been sewing doesn't it?
This is a great child's card. Everyone loves an elephant.
I'm teaching a small group of children this week. I hope they like the Tissue Box with matching Purse.
Purse Tutorial: Brenda Quintana (Thanks Brenda)
Tissue Box idea: Angie (Chic'nScratch) I enlarged it to fit a larger tissue.
Lesson dates are April 23, 24, 30, May 1 and 5.

Dapper Dad

Let's make some cards for the boys. Dapper Dad is such a great set. I especially like the watch. Here are some samples.

The clean and simple lines of both cards will make them a favourite to give and to make.
World Treasures was quite a popular set when we first received our last catalogue. They work really well with International Bazaar DSP.

Lesson dates are April 9, 10, 16, 17 and 21.

Happy Easter Everybunny

When I looked back at last year's Easter Lesson (52) I was a little intimidated. The Everybunny Stamp Set is so cute and the cards are some of my favourites. Because of this I have concentrated on 3D projects.
This little box was inspired by Stampin Texas. I changed the dimensions to fit the Aldi Bunny.
Another trip to Aldi to get more chocolate and with a little help from Slater Dee I made these.
The Blackboard Technique is very popular at the moment.
Here is my take on Erica Cerwin's Card Keeper.
Lesson dates are March 26, 27, April 2, 3 and 7.

Secret Garden

I started designing Lesson 76 with the Oh, Hello Stamp Set.
Here is a sample.
France Martin demonstrated a Tile with Grout Technique. She used DSP but I tried it with the Secret Garden Stamp Set. For those of you that like a tile effect but struggle with placement this technique is for you.
There are matching Framelits for Secret Garden. In this sample I have "played with ink" to make this Oval Framelit Card.
 Lesson dates are March 12, 13, 17, 19 and 20.

All Dressed Up

When I first saw this stamp set with matching framelits I was not overly excited but I am now. I have seen so many great cards using this set and at the last count I have made 9 different samples.
Here are two of my favourites.

I recently watched a video by the very talented Patty Bennet where she showed the versatility of the Delicate Details Lace Tape. I added a box and envelopes to match. Thanks Patty!

It's time to make another album. I used my Christmas photos on Lisa Curcio's Clear Stamp Case Mini Scrapbook.

Lesson dates are Feb 26, 27, March 3, 5 and 6.

More Jewellery

Most of you know that I love making jewellery as well as cards and gifts. When I saw the Bottle Tops (Soda Pop Tops) in the current Seasonal Catalogue (click on the sidebar to view the entire catalogue) and learnt how to squash them in the Big Shot I got really excited.
I then went onto make matching earrings but you'll have to come to a lesson to see these.

These little metal adornments look great on cards as well but the one in the middle is a Designer Builder Brad.
I went for a vintage look here.

Here are two cards using the Sale-a-Bration Set Bloomin' Marvellous.
In the Christmas holidays I had a children's class and they decorated a Mini Clipboard. They loved it and so did you so I've added it to this lesson.
Lesson dates are February 12, 13, 17, 19 and 20.

It's Sale-a-bration Time

In Lesson 73 we will be using a number of the free stamps and accessories from Sale-a-bration. Please click on the link in the sidebar if you haven't received the brochure or contact me and I'll send you one.
I love making box sets of cards and the wallet is back again. The matching cards were inspired by Jackie Bolhuis. Her video explained how to make "Four quick cards using DSP" and I did just that. I used the Sycamore Street DSP and the Patterned Occasions Stamp Set.

The Seasonal Mini will be launched on February 1. One of my favourite products is the Hexagon Embossing Folder.

I still love making jewellery and I was really excited when these Washer Necklaces turned out so well.
Here are some smaller ones for children.
And some for adults.
Lesson dates are Jan 29, 30, Feb 3, 5 and 6.

Welcome 2013

Quite a lot of choice for Lesson 72 and with some of you away until later in the month this lesson will run for 3 weeks.
Even though Valentines Day is not celebrated in Australia as much as in other countries I bought Affection Collection. I liked the grungy/shabby look of it. Inspiration from Playwriter.
I had seen the notebooks made with the Clear-Mount Stamp Cases so I thought I'd try one.

How about some Baby Cards.

We will make Kelly Gettlefinger's Waterfall Mini Album and Gift Card.

And a larger gift bag with instructions from Jackie Bolhuis.
Finally, to my latest addiction!!
Lesson dates are Jan 8, 9, 15, 16, 20, 22 and 23.
