I was obsessed with the Wrapped in Plaid DSP so I had to get the Perfectly Plaid Bundle. It does make Christmas card and gift making a breeze.

Lesson 198
The 2019 Holiday Catalogue went live on September 4.
In this Lesson we will be using two of the new sets.
The Brightly Gleaming Suite is a stunning mix of Night of Navy, Mossy Meadow, Pretty Peacock and Copper Foil. It is our first Christmas set for 2019.
I was keen to get Beauty and Joy because I loved the topiary trees, urns and basket. It's also a good set because of the versatility. It can be used for Christmas and all year round occasions.

Lesson 197
In this lesson we will be making lots of cards for our more mature friends.
On To Adventure is one of my favourites. The designer of this set has made it really easy to achieve fabulous colouring results.
Quite a lot of you really love the set Young at Heart. I must admit that it was not one of my favourites and there are not many samples on Pinterest to work with. Because of this I had to work a little harder but I am really pleased with the results.
I have also designed two hair accessory boxes.

Lesson 196
We will be doing lots of fussy cutting in this lesson. Both stamp sets are standalone (no dies/bundle).
The first set: Seaside Notions is great for masculine cards.
The second set: Beautiful Friendship is great for those who love floral.
I followed a Flowerbug's Inkspot Tutorial and made this folio of cards.

Lesson 195
Most people would know that I am not fond of birds but the Bird Ballad Suite of products is adorable. I have really enjoyed using the stamps and DSP.
I have always wanted to incorporate a Memories and More Card Pack into a lesson but thought that it would be too limiting but I have had a try with the Magnolia Lane Pack.

Lesson 194
Great news - we have a new catalogue and lots of new products.
When it comes to buying expensive dies and bundles I like to get maximum use eg Stitched Rectangle Dies.
In the new catalogue there is a bundle called Parcels and Petals. The bundle consists of 11 cling stamps which include some very useful sentiments and some beautiful images. Some of these can be fussy cut and layered or shaped to make 3D flowers. The dies are great for sentiments and it includes a really dinky box die.
I came across a great Linda Parker video. She demonstrated how to make a Toblerone Box. Well I made it and then made another one for an even smaller Toblerone. I must admit that they do look the same size but actually one is for a 100g and the other is for a 50g.
The Host Sets in this catalogue are really beautiful. I think that everyone is really keen to make cards with the New Wonders Cling Stamp Set. The images are particularly good for colouring with Blends.
