Lesson 166

Tranquil Tulips is a hostess set. Is is a set for those who love playing with colour combinations.

The second set for this lesson is Happiest of Days. I was inspired by Dawn Olchefske's set of cards. I used Washi and have also made a matching bag.

This was Molly's present and card. We share a birthday. She loved her present and I loved mine too!

Lesson dates are July 18, 19, 25, 26, August 1 and 2.

Lesson 164

Now that the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue has gone live and most of you have your copies we can delve into some new and exciting stamp sets and accessories.
The first for this lesson is the Daisy Delight Suite (p 126, 127). I think that it was the DSP that originally drew me to this suite. It appeals to my sense of colour and style.

Part 2 of this lesson is Happy Celebrations and although not a new addition to the catalogue it has the potential to be a keeper.

Lesson dates: June 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21.

Lesson 163

In this lesson, we will be working with two fabulous sets from the Occasions Catalogue. Both will be retiring at the end of this month but are still available at the time of writing this post. Some are even on special.
Carousel Birthday is a gorgeous stamp set but I must admit that it was the matching paper stack that originally caught my eye. It has been a favourite in many lessons.

The second set is the Custom Tee Bundle. It was one of the first things that I bought from the Occasions Catalogue and I really have enjoyed playing with it. I have incorporated my new obsession, Washi Tape into quite a few cards.

Lesson dates are May 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31.

Lesson 162

Following on from the intricacies of Make a Medallion I have selected Cake Crazy for this lesson. It is once again a multiple step stamp set. As you can imagine the possibilities are endless.

We will use the Window Shopping Bundle in the second part of the lesson.

Lesson dates are April 26, 28 and May 2, 3.

Lesson 161

During the last few weeks of Sale-A-Bration Stampin' Up! released 3 more items. One of these really took my eye. I made some great cards and boxes with Make A Medallion. Most of you took advantage of this also.
This little box is made with the Envelope Punch Board and it holds 5 cards with matching envelopes. I made a variety of sentiments with the Classic Label Punch and a section in the box for them. The recipient of this box of cards can attach the sentiment to suit the occasion.

Would you believe that this little pizza box holds 8 cards with matching envelopes!

I have been busy with the Basket Bunch Bundle making bags, boxes and baskets.

Lesson dates: 4, 5, 11, 12 April

Lesson 160

It's not quite so hot but we can still do with some Cool Treats. There are 36 photopolymer stamps and 17 dies in this bundle. As well as the bundle the Cool Treat Suite has matching Washi Tape, Sprinkles and DSP. Have a look at page 32 and 33 of the Occasions Catalogue

The second set for this lesson is High Tide. This will be a popular set for those who struggle with masculine cards. I was inspired by Kelly Kent and AmethyStar Crafting.

Lesson dates are March 14, 15, 21 and 22.

Lesson 159

It's such a lovely cool day here today but quite overcast. This means that the Internet is a bit slow so I hope I get this post finished.
The Special Reason Bundle consists of a pretty stamp set with delicate sentiments and Framelits which cut in a variety of ways giving you lots of options.

The second set for this lesson is the Lift Me Up Bundle. I am using my favourite DSP again - Urban Underground.

Lesson dates are February 28, March 1, 7 and 8.
