Sunny Fun Lesson 50

I thought that if I used this stamp set we might actually see some sun. I hope that you have all survived the recent bout of bad weather.
Here is a peek of Sunny Fun.

I was inspired by hobbydujour and stampercamper.

We will also be using Spiced Paisley. This is a Zigzag card.

We will revisit the Bagalope, tweaking it to make it sturdier. Inspired by Stampin Ally.

I had seen this cute flower on the Internet (Stampin Ally) but I couldn't find any instructions so I had a play and used a knitting needle to get the shape.

Another box with matching cards but this time we will decorate the envelopes.
Lesson dates are Jan 31, Feb 1, 5, 7 and 8.

Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge 101

I have had this stamp set for quite some time but hadn't used it. I have always loved paisley patterns.
The set is called Spiced Paisley and is found in the Summer Mini Catalogue.
I used Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.

Lots to Learn

In lesson 49 we will be using two new stamp sets. Faith in Nature, a hostess set, lends itself really well to the Faux Silk Technique.
It's also a great set for box making. I was inspired by girlgeek101.

The other stamp set for Lesson 49 is Charming (Summer Mini Catalogue). This set is obviously perfect for the Simply Adorned Charms as well as card making. Can you see something different on the insert?

For those who love making gifts you will be able to make headbands with or without Suffolk Puffs.
Isn't the Stampin' Up fabric divine?
Lesson dates are Jan 15, 17, 18, 24 and 25

Won't be long now!

I thought I'd send a little post to all of you to let you know that I have almost finished my holiday clean out and I'm going to start creating in the next day or two.

Just before Christmas I was making some great headbands with Stampin' Up fabric. I then went on to sewing Yo-yos and now the wire headband. I'm sorry to say that Phillip is less than impressed with my headband fetish but I love them. I'm so glad that I have been blessed with girly girl granddaughters who look great in a headband. What do you think?

At this stage I intend to start classes on Sunday 15 Jan. Keep an eye on the blog.
Have you noticed a change? I have also spent many productive hours learning more about blogging. What do you think? It's a bit girly I know but before this one it was all black and grungy. I can't decide which one is my favourite. I'll probably change it again tomorrow!!!
Thank you to all of my friends for their beautiful Christmas cards and gifts. I am very blessed to have such good friends.
