Season Like Christmas

Lesson 171

We don't get a lot of snow in Australia during Christmas but who doesn't love a decorative snowflake card.
The Snowflake Sentiment Bundle really fits the bill.

One of my early favourites from the Holiday Catalogue was Wise Men From Afar.

Lesson 170

In this lesson we will be revising our colouring techniques with the cute hostess set: Feathery Friends.
Colouring techniques will include watercolouring using the inkpad lid,  watercolour pencils, Stampin' Write Markers and a preview of the new Stampin' Blends.

The Christmas Quilt Bundle is very versatile.

The second set for this lesson is Painted Harvest and I know that you are going to love this one.

Lesson 168

We will be starting our Christmas card preparation in this lesson with the set Carols for Christmas.

The second set for this lesson, Colourful Seasons,  is a must for all Stampin' Up! enthusiasts.

I was inspired by Nicole Julie Wilson to make this stunning leaf card.

Lesson 167

In this lesson we will be using the Hostess Set: In the City
I am not usually a fan of tiny photopolymer sets but this one is a winner.
Sadly, I think that the plane is upside down but otherwise I love it!

My grandson loves cars and trucks so this will be perfect for his birthday.

The second set is Oh So Eclectic.
Mixed metals are on trend at the moment.

I had a play with Gloss Cardstock and the new Mini Pizza Boxes.

Finally, as promised, we will revisit the Star Album.

Lesson 166

Tranquil Tulips is a hostess set. Is is a set for those who love playing with colour combinations.

The second set for this lesson is Happiest of Days. I was inspired by Dawn Olchefske's set of cards. I used Washi and have also made a matching bag.

This was Molly's present and card. We share a birthday. She loved her present and I loved mine too!

Lesson dates are July 18, 19, 25, 26, August 1 and 2.

Lesson 165

In part 1 of this lesson will be using the Pieces and Patterns Stamp Set and the co-ordinating Pick a Pattern DSP.

 In part 2 we will be using the Falling Flowers Stamp Set and the co-ordinating May Flowers Framelits.

Lesson dates are June 27, 28, July 4, 5, 11 and 12.

Lesson 164

Now that the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue has gone live and most of you have your copies we can delve into some new and exciting stamp sets and accessories.
The first for this lesson is the Daisy Delight Suite (p 126, 127). I think that it was the DSP that originally drew me to this suite. It appeals to my sense of colour and style.

Part 2 of this lesson is Happy Celebrations and although not a new addition to the catalogue it has the potential to be a keeper.

Lesson dates: June 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21.

Lesson 163

In this lesson, we will be working with two fabulous sets from the Occasions Catalogue. Both will be retiring at the end of this month but are still available at the time of writing this post. Some are even on special.
Carousel Birthday is a gorgeous stamp set but I must admit that it was the matching paper stack that originally caught my eye. It has been a favourite in many lessons.

The second set is the Custom Tee Bundle. It was one of the first things that I bought from the Occasions Catalogue and I really have enjoyed playing with it. I have incorporated my new obsession, Washi Tape into quite a few cards.
