Lesson 37 The Big Shot

Many of you have bought your Big Shot and have really enjoyed using the embossing folders and some of you have been making boxes and milk cartons but did you know that you could also work with fabric.
In lesson 37 you will learn how to make a fabric/felt/fleece brooch/hair clip and cut fabric for a rag quilt purse.
You might also learn how to make a scallop circle or square easel card.
I will also teach you how to adhere fabric to cardstock and then cut and emboss in the Big Shot.
Finally, I have some cards made with the Sail Away stamp (Autumn/Winter Mini p 22).
Yes, that's quite a lot but I know you can do it.

Many thanks to chic'scratch (flowers and bag), Deb Fearn (Babushka) and  Mary Fish (Sail Away) for their fabulous inspiration.
Finally, thanks to Mum for making the red rag quilt bag.

  1. The girls just love the flowers,it is all the thing for girls at the moment. They wear a different flower/bow every day. The Rag Quilt Bag looks fabulous. Laura and Sarah gave the thumbs up for the bag too. I love the sailing boat cards, particularly the blue one. It makes it hard to choose what to make first. I love it all.
    Thanks Cathy.

  2. Cathy, that's always the problem, isn't it.....what to make first?? So many fabulous & inspired ideas, but for me, I think it will be the babushka....I just love them. Di, I may bump into you at Bangalow tomorrow, as I'm meeting my friends from Sydney there.I'll bring my cardS for this month's challenge, just in case.(Just shining my halo....)

  3. The girls were very fashionable wearing their fabric flowers recently while on our hoilday. It is lovely when friends ask where they bought their hair pieces and the girls reply that they made them themselves.
