When I saw the Just Add Ink Challenge http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/search/label/Challenges I knew exactly which flower I wanted to make. It uses the extra large fancy flower punch. I have seen quite a few of these. Some just use glue, others use brads. I have even used wire and beads. The Autumn Spice Specialty DSP worked really well.
Last Friday our regular stamping group celebrated Mum's Birthday with a high tea at The House of Gabriel in Tumbulgum. You can see that Mum and Margaret were very interested in the chef's explanations. Thanks again to Margaret, Bev and Andrea for their lovely gifts and cards (handmade naturally).
Another wonderful celebration for my 80th birthday. I am so very fortunate to have such generous, caring friends. My sincere thanks to you all. Love Nance. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI am really looking forward to making these beautiful flowers. I just love them. Mum. xo
ReplyDeleteThe flower on the card looks wonderful. A great one to make.
ReplyDeleteThose ladies look like they were having a great time - High Tea's are a great way to go.
Cathy.
Using the patterned DSP really givves your flower some texture - the lovely autumn colours work well together too. Thanks for playing at JAI.

It's absolutely stunning! The card that is, not the food. Well, the food looks stunning too :) Thank you for sharing this amazing creation.
ReplyDeleteI haven't made a flower like that yet. You make it look so easy. Your card is beautiful. Thanks for playing at Just Add Ink.
ReplyDeleteDi, it seems you have been very busy! I love the photos from House of Gabriel....what a very special place it is, & perfect for Nancy's high tea.
ReplyDeleteooh I just love your flower done in Autumn Spice! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteDi, hope you don't mind, but I took the little post-it gifty-thing we made yesterday & adapted it to some note pads I found while looking for post-it notes. The dimensions are CS 20 X 13. Score at 9.5,11 & 12, all in cm of course & a bit -ish as well ;-)
ReplyDeleteSorry,Di, me again.....the scoring details should read 8,9 & 10.5 cm.....the same thing, but makes better sense. :-)
